Shottle Hall Wedding Photographers – Kristine and Steven
We have wedding photographers at Shottle Hall many times. It is a beautiful country house with stunning scenery surrounding it. It’s a photographers dream. It stands on the edge of the Peak District and forms part of the famous Chatsworth House Estate. The staff there are very hospitable and professional and they will go out of their way to make sure your wedding day runs smoothly. Kristine’s and Steven’s wedding day was no exception.
Kristine looked fabulous on the day. Her dress was amazing with a veil that went on and on as she walked down the aisle to meet Steven. Shottle Hall was dressed up to the nines with beautiful floral tree displays in the orangery that were centre peices on each table. An arch full of beautiful flowers adorned the marriage table in the ceremony room which then became the backdrop for the top table at their reception. Just beautiful.
Their wedding was an emotional but very happy day enjoyed by all of their guests. Friends and family came to Shottle Hall from all over the country as well as from abroad to celebrate their special day. Christine’s immediate family and close friends came all the way from the Philippines which was amazing.
One poignant occasion was when Steven’s dad attended their wedding ceremony with his carer. You could see the bond between them was very close and loving especially when he was taken to the ceremony table to congratulate his son.
The weather on their wedding day was full of sunshine but very blustery. This added to the beautiful photographs in Shottle Hall’s grounds as the veil swirled in the wind as well as her dress. On one occasion the wind was so strong that Kristine nearly took off!
