Langar Hall Wedding Photographer – Sophie and Ryan

This was a beautiful day for a fabulous wedding at Langar Hall in Nottinghamshire. Langar Hall is a Grade II listed house and is now a hotel which has hosted many prestigious guests such as Keira Knightley, Henry Blofeld, the Archbishop of Canterbury and many others.

Langar Hall’s recognisable apricot-washed facade is reached by an avenue of limes. The drive in front of the Hall opens up to a stupendous view over the countryside. Its grounds are a delight to photograph  as is the Hall itself. What a location for photographing a wedding which Sophie and Ryan hand picked as they usually frequent Langar Hall’s restaurant for its delicious menu . On the day Langar Hall didn’t let them down as the food was sumptuous.

Summer was in full flow in August. It was hot but bearable which it needed to be. With the brilliant weather we made good use of the outdoors as we had a lot of ground to cover. Sophie and Ryan was up for it but because of the time limitations and heat we split the couple shots into two. One after the wedding ceremony and the other after the wedding breakfast when it was cooler.

We stayed for the whole day photographing everything that was happening around us. It was a fabulous day, full of love with family and friends.
