Prestwold Hall Wedding Photographer – Bethany and Ben.
Prestwold Hall is located in the heart of the beautiful Leicestershire Wolds countryside near Loughborough. It is a wedding venue that we always enjoy photographing at because of the endless opportunity for fabulous photographs inside as well as outside. The staff at Prestwold Hall are very friendly, organised and they take excellent care of you.
Bethany and Ben’s wedding day started with their preparations taking place at their parents’ houses before going on to their local Holy Trinity Church at Barrow upon Soar for the wedding ceremony. All was very calm and collected. Bethany enjoyed the pampering and being with her bridesmaids in the morning. She looked wonderful in her wedding dress. It was a Kenneth Winston dress sourced from Wedding Belles Bridal Boutique in Kibworth Beauchamp. Ben and his groomsmen looked very smart with their suits from Slaters in Nottingham.
Bethany and her dad were driven to the church in an Old English White, 1930s Style, Beauford car from David Smithard Wedding Cars . It was a gorgeous looking vintage vehicle which suited the occasion very well. We were very lucky with the weather as it kept fine all day.
The wedding ceremony went well without a hitch. I was hoping that Ben would look back at Bethany coming down the aisle and he did. That is always a lovely moment for me and a great memory for the groom. The vicar was quite a character as she had a fantastic, cheery personality which made everyone smile and laugh. It is always great to work with personalities like that.
We got to Prestwold Hall in good time to document everyone arriving including Bethany and Ben. We took Bethany and Ben around the venue for photographs. The countryside around Prestwold is exquisitely lovely. We could spend hours with them but, of course, we couldn’t. As usual the staff looked after all the guests plying them with drink and canapes. The food is always to die for, beautifully presented and tastes out of this world.
The whole day was fabulous from start to the finish. It ended with a first dance with a difference. They started with the usual slow, swaying, non dicriptive dance and then it turned into a full blown routine which they had learnt. Brilliant! The guests enjoyed themselves and so did we.
